In 2015, KZT 343.2 billion were assigned to the development, repair and maintenance of national-status roads. Using the assigned funds, over 3 thousand kilometers of roads have been covered with all types of road construction works.
To building and reconstruction, KZT 302.2 billion were assigned, including KZT 289.1 billion to the “Nurly Zhol” projects. Using the assigned funds, implementation of Western Europe – Western China, Center – South, Center – East, Center – West, Almaty – Ust-Kamenogorsk, Astana – Petropavlovsk, Omsk – Pavlodar, Astana – Kostanai – Chelyabinsk, Taskesken – Bakhty, and Zhezkazgan – Petropavlovsk projects has been continued. In July 2015, implementation of the Uralsk – Kamenka project started.
Furthermore, the design specifications and estimates and feasibility studies are being developed for the projects: Center – South, Center – East, Aktobe – Atyrau - Astrakhan, Astana – Petropavlovsk – border of RF, South-West bypass of Astana, Beineu – Akzhigit, Shchuchinsk – Zerenda, and Uzynagash - Otar.
Within 6 months, KZT 121.4 billion, or 40% have actually been spent.
To repair works, KZT 41 billion were assigned. Using these funds, 1,136 km are covered with repair works, including 100 km - with capital repair and 1,036 km - with medium repair.
